To Lynn DeVries<\/strong>, my husband, who provided me with the platform, patience, encouragement and support to get this off the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To Claes-Herbert Jonsson<\/strong>, my late cousin, whose research and website provided integral information for getting started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To Leif S\u00f6dergren<\/strong>, my cousin, whose websites and books provided vast amounts of information about the Jonsson and Dawson line. His friendship and correspondence has been inspiring to me since we connected several years ago. He has introduced (or reintroduced) me to other cousins and helped piece together puzzles with our shared information. Links to his websites are below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To my cousins Jane Forsberg Karlsson<\/strong> and her children, Veronika<\/strong>, Patrik<\/strong> and Kristoffer<\/strong> and their families and to Erling Corneliusson<\/strong>, his daughter Jessica<\/strong> and her family. Jane and Erling and their families have provided so much kindness to me and my family. They helped to provide a bridge to our past – a connection that had been severed over time and shame. The healing that occurred from reuniting with this part of our family cannot be measured in words and it created bonds – at least for me – that go far deeper than the degrees of relationship between us on the family tree itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To Norman “Bucky” Keyes, Jr.<\/strong> and his family for their research, memories and interest in finding and maintaining connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To my brothers, parents, uncle, aunt and cousins and to other members of my extended family – including the exes and in-laws and outlaws for their research, stories, memories, photos, heirlooms and other information that will help contribute to build out our shared family trees and this site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last but certainly not least, to the librarians, historical society employees, archivists, museum runners and record keepers – some of whom I know by name and others from whom I have only benefitted from their efforts – thank you for you work and the information you have shared with me directly or indirectly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
